I have hated iTunes and it's increasingly bloated installer for a while now. Finally Mozilla (firefox, thunderbird) has stepped up and developed Songbird.http://www.songbirdnest.com/
a iTunes replacement that is smaller, simpler, and actually finds you music you like. It's still in development but I'm running the pre-release fine.

Just wanted to make a simple correction: while much of Songbird is based off of Open Source Mozilla codebase, it's being developed by a group called Pioneers of the Inevitable (a startup based in San Francisco). Lots of exciting things to watch for as the project is kicking into high gear!
